What the app stores
Sideline MVP saves your children's names, photos, practice schedules, logged sessions and games in your browser's local storage — a private space on your own device. This data is never transmitted to us or to anyone else, because the app has no server to send it to.
Clearing your browser data for this site deletes it. That is why the app has a backup feature: the file it creates belongs to you and is stored wherever you put it.
What we collect
Nothing from inside the app. No accounts, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising identifiers, no crash reports.
This website
These pages may use two things that the app itself never does: a visitor-statistics tool and an advertising pixel. They count page views and clicks on the buy button so we know whether an ad was worth running. They do not receive anything you type into the app — the app has no connection to this site.
If the Meta (Facebook) pixel is active, Meta receives the fact that a browser visited this page or clicked through to checkout, under its own privacy policy. You can block it with any content blocker and the site still works.
Buying the app
Payments are handled by Gumroad, not by us. When you buy, Gumroad processes your email address and payment details under its own privacy policy, and shares with us only what a seller normally sees: your email address and the fact of the purchase. We use that email to deliver the product and to answer your questions — nothing else. We do not sell or rent it.
Children's data
The app is bought and used by parents. Information about a child exists only on the parent's own device and is never uploaded. We have no way to access it, and therefore no way to disclose it.
Your rights
Because the app data lives on your device, you can inspect, export or erase it at any time: Settings → Backup to export, or clear the site data in your browser to erase. For anything related to your purchase email, write to us and we'll delete it from our records.
